Hello Friends,.

I'd like to encourage everyone to attend CPAK 2008, the *"Conference on
Precession and Ancient Knowledge"*, this October 4th and 5th, at UCSD. If
you're not familiar with CPAK, it is by far the best conference on ancient
mysteries and knowledge out there - and definitely worth the price (cheap at
$229 compared to similar events).

At this year's CPAK you'll hear from, and have the opportunity to interact
with, some of the most interesting authors and independent researchers in
the ancient histories business:

*David Hatcher Childress* – Explorer and author or co-author of over 20
books on ancient civilizations. David will discuss his latest work, "The
Mystery of the Olmecs". This enigmatic pre-Mayan culture left huge carved
stone megaliths and is credited with a number of advancements and
characteristics that are problematic to current history theory.

*Dr. Jocelyn Godwin* – Professor of music at Colgate University - and the
only professor teaching a course on "Atlantis" at a major university. Known
widely for his studies of ancient mystical religions, Godwin will trace the
history of the idea, held since ancient times, that the whole cosmos, with
its circling planets and stars, is in some way related to a musical or
harmonious entity that has inspired philosophers, astronomers, and mystics
from antiquity to the present day.

*Dr. Carmen Boulter* – Professor at the University of Calgary in Canada, has
been researching and writing about the sacred feminine in ancient Egypt, and
goddesses around the world, for two decades. She will discuss her book,
"Angels and Archetypes: An Evolutionary Map of Feminine Consciousness," and
review fragments of information about matriarchal cultures in predynastic
Egypt and prehistoric Greece.

*Marie D. Jones* – Author of "PSIence: How New Discoveries In Quantum
Physics and New Science May Explain the Existence of Paranormal Phenomena"
will be discussing her new book, co-authored with geologist John Savino,
Supervolcano: The Catastrophic Event That Changed the Course of Human
History". Marie will provide an overview of the Indonesian event and also
suggest that the science of psi may have been well known to humans in the
pre-history, pre-Babel age.
*
Dr. William Sullivan* – Archaeoastronomer, historian, and student of myth,
William Sullivan is the author of "The Secret of the Incas: Myth Astronomy
and the War Against Time", which was featured in a two hour documentary on
Channel 4, England. His focus at CPAK 2008 is the relationship between
Algonquian mythology and the enigmatic Native American stone constructions
scattered throughout New England.
*
*We will also have my friend* Dr. Robert Schoch* – reviewing his new book
"The Parapsychology Revolution" and discussing the unusual characteristics,
and possible capabilities, of higher age cultures from a psychical studies
standpoint, CPAK organizer *Walter Cruttenden, **author of * "Lost Star of
Myth and Time," and the award winning documentary, "The Great Year", who
will give an overview of the cycle of the ages as depicted in Giorgio de
Santillana's and Hertha von Deschend's "Hamlet's Mill", scientist *John
Burke*, discussing the astonishing Avebury Anomaly and the subtle energy
properties of megalithic sites, *Dr. Thomas Brophy* discussing Nabta Playa,
the oldest stone henge in the world, astronomer *David Steinmetz* of Ananda
University discussing the Vedic culture of the higher ages and the Yuga
cycle, *Laird Scranton* who will bring us the latest in Dogon culture and
wisdom… and of course me! I will review Ancient Egyptian civilization and
cosmology and compare it to the Yuga cycle – all indications are the cycle
is real! The Four Cowboys of Apocalypse 2.0 are loose upon the land –
though you may not have recognized them for what they are…

I encourage you to visit WWW.CPAKonline.com <http://www.cpakonline.com/> or
call 949.399.0306 and sign up today. I hope to see you all this year at
CPAK 2008 in beautiful La Jolla, California.

Cheers

John Anthony West
